Tessendorf Mechanical Services in need of a new look

Tessendorf Mechanical Services on Center Drive in Gilberts operates from an office that was built in the 1970s. The conference room has been neglected and is the finalist in the first week of our Workplace Makeover Contest.

"Nothing has been done to it," said Owner Doborah Schuldt.

She explains that the conference room has become a catchall for parts because of the condition of the office. When they have employee training sessions and customer meetings, it is a mass scramble to get it in order, Schuldt says.

The carpet is stained and wrinkled. The furniture is not even usable, she says. Parts are piled all over the room.

The growing business was established in 1945.

The company provides its commercial, industrial and residential clients with green technologies, heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, sheet metal, process piping, controls, refrigeration, ventilation and energy systems design, repair and installation.
