Stephan D. Blandin, Principal and Partner at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, Reappointed to Illinois Supreme Court Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission

Stephan D. Blandin, a personal injury attorney at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, has recently been appointed by The State of Illinois Supreme Court to another one-year term on the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission (ARDC) hearing board. The term commences March 1, 2017, and will go through February 28, 2018. Founding partner and principal at Romanucci & Blandin, Mr. Blandin has had the honor of serving on the ARDC's hearing board for the past five years. He is one of more than 75 hearing board members who will make disciplinary recommendations for lawyers in Illinois throughout the next year.

The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission is comprised of volunteers, some lawyers and some not, who work directly under James R. Mendillo, the Chair of the Commission. Hearing board activities are guaranteed confidentiality during all grievance investigations, while disciplinary actions are adjudicated publicly. The ARDC operates under the authority of the Supreme Court, which oversees the admission and discipline of lawyers in Illinois.
