The McHenry County Human Race 2017, "Get Your Hero On," is a great family fun racing event.
The seventh annual 5K walk/run allows you to choose Family Alliance to receive the proceeds of your race fee and any fundraising you choose to do.
The race will be at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 23, at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake. Register online through Friday, March 31, at a cost of $35. Cost is $40 if registering April 1-21.
Cost is $15 for children ages 10 and younger. Visit www.volunteercentermchenrycounty.org/humanrace.html, click on "Register to Walk/Run," choose "Join a Team" and select Family Alliance.
Offline registration is available at McHenry County College. Bib and T-shirt pickup will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at McHenry County College. Cost is $45 for day-of race registration from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
