Naperville seeks playground input
Naperville Park District residents can help select equipment for playground renovations planned this year at two park sites.
The district will hold an open house from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at the planning and development office, 425 W. Jackson Ave., to hear ideas for Pembroke Commons, 1132 Kenilworth Circle, and Summerfield Lake, 2003 Skylane Drive. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and may come at any time during the 90-minute period. There will not be a formal presentation.
"Several playground designs will be on display, with variations in color, types of slides and layout of equipment," project manager Jessica Burgdorf said.
"We invite parents and children who will use the playground to help make these choices."
