Waukegan police release images of armed robbery suspect

Waukegan police released images Tuesday of one of two men suspected in the armed robbery of a Metro PCS store last month.

According to police, two men wearing sunglasses and dressed in construction hard hats and yellow and orange reflective traffic safety vests robbed the store at gunpoint at about 3:20 p.m. Feb. 23. An undisclosed amount of money and other property was taken from the business, located in the 0-100 block of South Green Bay Road.

Both suspects were described as black men in their mid to late 20s. One suspect is described as being 5'5" and stocky. The other is described as 6' and thinner. The thinner suspect had the handgun.
