Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale Events to Mark Your Calendars For!
The Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale is proud to present their 2017 Spring concert: SOME ENCHANTED EVENING: Favorites from BROADWAY. The Chorale, Ensemble, and selected soloists are preparing an exciting program including music from The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, South Pacific, The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Spamalot, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Les Miserables, and Hamilton: An American Musical. There will be two performances: Friday, May 12th, 7:30 PM, and Saturday, May 13th, 3:00 PM. The concert will be held at College Church on the campus of Wheaton College, 332 E. September 30, 2017, the Chorale will be holding their 2nd Annual Bingo Serenade fundraiser to raise money to pay for the continuing operation of the Chorale, plus help defray the cost of a European tour in 2018. Please mark your calendar for the September 30th fundraiser at the American Legion Hall, 570 S. Gary Ave., Carol Stream, IL; doors open at 6 PM, bingo begins at 7 PM; $20 advance seat reservation ($25 at the door); over $500 in cash prizes; items for raffle and 50/50 raffle; food available for purchase and a cash bar.
