Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is it?The Glen Ellyn Park District does a very good job, but I would like to see some improvements to ensure the direction is guided by what best serves the community.Utilize the information gathered from citizen surveys to focus on what the community wants. Begin and/or improve data collection efforts for all park district programs and facilities. This information would assist the park district to make informed decisions that better serve everyone.The park district must become more environmentally friendly: reduce the usage of chemical fertilizers and weed control; improve park landscaping to include native plants and flowers; attract butterflies, birds, bats and bees.
