4th Annual 4-H Robotics Showcase

On April 8, 2017 University of Illinois Extension will be presenting the 4th Annual 4-H Robotics Showcase at Antioch Upper Grade School, 800 Highview Drive in Antioch, Illinois. The event will take place from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. This is a fun, free family event and is open to the public.

The theme for this year's challenge is "Meet the Health-bots" where eighteen teams of middle school youth from across Lake and McHenry counties will create LEGO Health-bots to complete challenges demonstrating elements of healthy living including creating a nutritious dinner plate from the four food groups and the importance of exercise.

The 4-H Robotics Showcase is the culminating event for University of Illinois Extension's Growing 4-H Science Robotics Clubs. Youth have the opportunity to show off what they have learned in their Robotics Clubs throughout the school year.
