Bartlett Fire District town hall March 20
The Bartlett Fire Protection District board and fire chief will host a town hall meeting to discuss the district's financial status and tax-hike referendum at 7 p.m. Monday, March 20 at Fire Station 1, 234 N. Oak Ave. in Bartlett.
The meeting will provide residents with updates on the district's financial condition and answer questions concerning the April 4 referendum vote.
The referendum will ask voters whether the district's property tax levy this year should be increased by 19.5 percent - instead of the usual increase of either 5 percent or the rate of inflation, whichever is less.
