Magic with a message for students at Libertyville school

Copeland Manor School students enjoyed a fun way to learn about character traits Wednesday with storyteller Chris McBrien.

McBrien, of Lisle, used a mix of puppets, ventriloquism and magic to teach students at the Libertyville elementary school about citizenship and working together, caring, and patience. The program was a Positive Behavior Assembly for the kindergarten through fifth grade students.

Several students were called to assist McBrien during the hourlong program to help reinforce cooperating together, doing your personal best and building a supportive school environment.
