This celebration features character appearances, comic artists and writers, face painting, panel discussions, building a Hogwarts castle, movieoke and more.

Comic writers and artists in Artists' Alley on the library's second floor will include Ali Cantarella, Scott Casper, Serena Guerra, Fred Herring, Zach Lehner, Steph Stanga, John Vogel, Wesley Sun, Raz Ortiz, Penelope Love Prints and Keith's Komix.

Everyone at Comic Con will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with members of the 501st Midwest Garrison - the Illinois chapter of the 501st Legion, a Star Wars Imperial costuming club.

Additionally, characters from Costumers with a Cause will pose with visitors and have a table with a variety of Star Wars props. Costumers with a Cause is an organization that raises money for charitable causes.
