Water Street Studios Live Art Series: Noah Gabriel album release party

Water Street Studios Live Art Series is celebrating the 10th album release of local musician, Noah Gabriel from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 24.

The Live Art Series is a monthly live art performance exploring a variety of art forms including music, film, dance, storytelling, and more! The Live Art Series is made possible by a grant from the Batavia Arts Council.

Noah Gabriel is a singer-songwriter guitarist from Aurora. He draws from the musical styles of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ryan Adams, John Mayer, Lucinda Williams, and BB King. His music could be labeled as blues/rock with hints of folk and alternative country. Noah recorded his first album "In Aurora" at age 20.

Danielle Hollis, executive director of Water Street Studios, says, " I remember seeing Noah Gabriel play when I was in my early twenties. I am so excited to be able to celebrate his 10th album release during our Live Art Series event at Water Street Studios."

A solo acoustic set will start at 6 p.m. in the Dempsey Family Gallery at Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St. in Batavia. Afterward, Noah Gabriel and his full band will perform on stage at Kiss the Sky, 180 First St. in Batavia.

Gabriel's original acrylic paintings will be shown during his stage at Kiss the Sky. Noah's original acrylic paintings will be shown during his performance as well. You can pre-order Noah's newest album "Dead Reckoning" at www.noahgabriel.com or pick up a copy at Kiss the Sky in Batavia.

There is a $5 suggested donation. The cash bar will feature wine provided by Bright Angel Wines and beer provided by Solemn Oath Brewery.
