Holy Family to offer Ash Wednesday blessings at train station

Representatives from Holy Family Parish in Inverness will distribute ashes during the morning commute at the Palatine Metra station.

Fr. Terry Keehan, pastor, commented, "Every year, our volunteers bring the blessings and ashes to those whose schedules do not allow them to attend a worship service."

They will be offering blessings at the station during morning and evening commute hours as well as at Mass at 6:30, 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. There will be a word service and Distribution of Ashes at 12:15 and 4:30 p.m.
