District 211 candidates forum March 2

Two candidate forums will take place in March for voters to hear from the six hopefuls seeking three available seats on the Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 school board in the April 4 election.

The Northwest Suburban Teachers Union Local 1211 School Board Candidate Forum will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 2, in the cafeteria of James B. Conant High School, 700 E. Cougar Trail in Hoffman Estates.

The District 211 race also will be highlighted in a League of Women Voters Candidate Forum at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at Palatine village hall, 200 E. Wood St.

The candidates are incumbents Robert LeFevre Jr. and Anna Klimkowicz, former board member Ed Yung and a slate of newcomers including Ralph T. Bonatz, Katherine Jee Young David and Jean Forrest.
