  Soap Box Derby racing is a colorful sport. While making photos at the indoor All American Soap Box Derby Race at the Charlestowne Mall in St. Charles, I noticed an overhead mirror on a plain wall that reflected the colorful fiberglass cars, the painted ramps, the orange traffic cones, the pink and blue tile floors and the blue overhead beams that were a part of the event. The weekend of racing was sponsored by the Greater Chicago Soap Box Derby Association and the non-profit will be hosting races there on the last weekend of February, March and April of this year.
