Skinny: Antioch coach Tim Borries notched his 200th career win (10th season) in Tuesday's sectional semifinal against St. Viator. That leaves Borries about 900 wins shy of Marshall's Dorothy Gaters, who's the all-time wins leader among coaches in state history. The legendary Gaters, who is in her 42nd season at Marshall, recorded her 1,000th win two seasons ago. Borries and assistant coach Tim Bowen scouted the Chicago Public School championship game in which Marshall beat North Lawndale for the third time this season. "We're going to have our hands full," Borries said of Marshall following Thursday's sectional final win over Johnsburg. "There may be some sleepless nights between now and Monday, but I'll take it." ... Marshall has not played a game since beating St. Joseph in the sectional semifinals. North Lawndale was forced to forfeit the sectional final when it was ruled to have used an ineligible player. ... Antioch also took a 30-3 record into the supersectional two years ago. The Sequoits lost to Montini 61-44 at Hoffman Estates.

Advancement: winner plays winner of Springfield (UIS) supersectional between Rochester and Bethalto (Civic Memorial) in state semifinals, 12:45 p.m. Friday at Redbird Arena in Normal.
