Pioneer School holds McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the West Chicago McDonald's

Pioneer School of West Chicago Elementary School District 33 held a McTeacher's Night Fundraiser on Thursday, February 23, at the West Chicago McDonald's on W. North Ave. This is an event organized to raise money for schools by having the staff work at McDonald's and the restaurant gives back a percentage of sales to the school.

The Staff from Pioneer came prepared and ready to work. The McTeachers worked jobs such as greeting families, working the front counter, ice cream machine and drive thru.

The Teachers had a blast singing for tips and the excitement didn't stop there. Ronald McDonald showed up to take pictures and bring smiles to everyone's faces big and small.

The staff raised $268.00 plus tips made from the singing McTeacher's. A special thank you goes out to Principal Trejo for organizing the event as well as the entire staff that showed up in the dreary weather to make sure the students of their school will have these special memories that will last a lifetime. The school plans to use the money raised for field trips.
