A happy ending

On Feb. 4, 2017, I mailed my 2016 income tax return form to the Deptartment of Revenue in Springfield. On Feb. 14, I received the empty damaged envelope, stamped: "Return to sender" and "Received without contents." I then called the PostaI Inspector's office to report the loss. On the following day, I received the original tax forms intact from the Postal Office in Carol Stream. To my delight. I share this with those who know we have the greatest mail system in the world.
