Explore virtual reality, create, play with robots and more at AHML Tech Faire
Tech tinkerers, enthusiasts, and novices of all ages are invited to explore, create and play with robots, circuits, virtual reality and more at the Tech Faire at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library on Saturday, March 4. Drop in between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for live demonstrations and hands-on activities with technology available at the library as well as fascinating sessions and workshops about new and upcoming tech. No preregistration required. The day of the Tech Faire, visit the check-in booth on the first floor of the library by the Info Desk for a map and more information about the activities, sessions and featured tech.
VIRTUAL REALITY
Meet an alien, interact with a dinosaur and explore virtual worlds with Oculus Rift and Google Cardboard. For the intrepid adventurer, reach out and interact with the virtual world with the brand new Oculus Touch.
ROBOT INVASION
Build, play and compete with robots of all shapes and sizes, including Lego Mindstorms, Finches, Dash and Dots, Ozobots and a Sphero.
