Rattle the Walls concert raises more than $2,000 for ACLU

Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry hosted the Rattle the Walls concert on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Rattle the Walls is a Chicago-based musical activism group that strives to inspire thought, action, and love through art.

It was founded by Forest Ransburg, who is also Tree of Life's music director. Each concert will benefit an organization working for social justice.

A jam-packed full house enjoyed performances by talented musicians performing in multiple genres and styles.

More than $2,000 was raised in donations for the American Civil Liberties Union.

The program was the second in a series of "Arts in Resistance" programs presented by the church.
