Cubs postcard: Sunny disposition

MESA, Ariz. - Something returned Monday to the Valley of the Sun: the sun itself.

After two wet and dreary days that kept the Cubs off the practice fields, they were able to return in full force Monday, with pitchers throwing live batting practice to the hitters.

Right fielder Jason Heyward stopped to sign a bunch of autographs. His teammate, Anthony Rizzo, signed autographs and chatted with some nuns after he hit.

It's safe to say everybody is glad baseball and the sun have returned.
