Anti-Semitic graffiti found at Buffalo Grove playground

A vandal used chalk to draw a swastika on stairs at a Buffalo Grove playground, police said Saturday.

A resident reported the vandalism, which also included a racial slur, about 12:18 p.m. at the playground at Apple Hill Park, Sgt. Michelle Kondrat said.

Police notified the Buffalo Grove Park District to have the chalk cleaned off the playground at 2275 Apple Hill Lane.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call police at (847) 459-2560.

"We have no leads on it at all," Kondrat said.

A swastika inside a six-pointed Star of David was found earlier this month carved into a plastic slide at Rolling Hills Park in Buffalo Grove.
