Cubs postcard: Staying connected

MESA, Ariz. - There is a taste of old home week at Cubs spring training camp.

The current management team has done a lot to involve former Cubs players as spring instructors. On Friday, Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg was working with the hitters during batting practice. Over on the pitching mounds, former Cubs right-hander Rick Sutcliffe was imparting his knowledge to the team's young pitchers.

Both men looked like they were having the time of their lives.
