CLC speaker series

Author, speaker and journalist John Wasik will discuss his new book "Lightning Strikes: Timeless Lessons in Creativity from the Life and Work of Nikola Tesla," at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 in Room A011, the lower level A Wing Auditorium at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. The presentation, part of CLC's STEM Speaker series, will use Tesla's life and inventions to show how to spark creativity and innovation in business and technology. Tesla created radio, the modern electrical grid, robotics and wireless/remote control. There is no charge for admission but participants are asked to preregister at www.clcillinois.edu/STEM.
