Schaumburg library hosts Book Explorers for young readers
Children ages 5 to 8 years old are welcome to join Book Explorers from 4 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 28 and March 28, in the Craft Room of the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
The selection for February will be "New Shoes" by Susan Lynn Meyer, while March's book will be "Mr. Ferris and His Wheel" by Kathryn Gibbs Davis.
To participate, children must register at the kidsZone Desk, at which time they will receive a copy of the book to check out.
When they attend Book Explorers, children will share their opinions on the books and do a related craft or activity. There is no fee for joining, but registration is required.
