WCFC TV38/TLN announces its 40th anniversary banquet celebration

Total Living Network, Chicago's own Christian cable television station, is celebrating 40 years of broadcast ministry in the greater Chicago area with a special "Shining His Light - Sharing His Love" banquet featuring keynote speaker Kay Arthur, host of "Precepts for Life" and author of over 100 books and Bible studies. This celebration will take place at Lindner Conference Center on the lovely grounds of Northern Seminary in Lombard on March 10, 2017.

Guests also will enjoy the music of internationally renowned pianist Huntley Brown and will hear from Mary Stutts, named on the list of 25 Influential Black Women in Business by The Network Journal. Honorary co-chairs are Vance Henry, deputy chief of staff, community and faith-based partnerships for the Office of the Mayor of Chicago and Dr. John Fuder, founder and director of Heart for the City and Visionary Leader of Pray Chicago.

"I'm very pleased that my good friends Kay Arthur, Huntley Brown and Mary Stutts are joining us for our 40th Anniversary Banquet - it doesn't get any better than that!," said TLN Chairman Jerry K. Rose.

TLN launched as WCFC TV38 in 1976 with Mayor Richard J. Daley presiding as guest speaker at the McCormick Place dedication. Over its 40 years of operation, TLN has produced original programming serving the Chicago area faith community and has received numerous Midwest Emmy awards. In Illinois, TLN is an exclusive XFINITY TV channel covering Chicago, most of Illinois and Northwest Indiana on basic channel 138. Recently, TLN expanded to multiple digital platforms including ROKU, Amazon FireTV, AndroidTV and its 24/7 live stream at TLN.com.

Tickets are still available to the TV38/TLN 40th Anniversary Banquet as well as the VIP Reception to meet Kay Arthur. Online registration is available at tln.com/about/40th-anniversary/ or by calling (630) 801-3646.
