Learn about birding Lake County

Nan Buckardt, director of education for the Lake County Forest Preserve District, will be the featured speaker March 6 at the next Lake County Audubon Society meeting.

The meeting takes place from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Libertyville village hall, 118 W. Cook Ave.

More than 350 species of birds have been recorded in Lake County and attendees will learn about some of them, as well as locations to maximize the chances of seeing certain types. There is no admission charge. Children are welcome. http://www.lakecountyaudubon.org/.
