One small victory
It would be so wonderful if every day there would be a front-page story filled with positives. Thank you, Mr. Ballenger, for taking the time to tell the story of your traffic stop in Hoffman Estates, and thank you, Daily Herald, for putting it front and center. A small exchange between a citizen and law enforcement, probably lasting no more than 25-30 minutes, and yet what ripples of good may come from the sharing of the experience. As a society, we have so far to go yet in dealing with our differences, but one small victory at a time - there is hope.
