U-46 to host ninth annual STEM Expo Feb. 25

Students from across Elgin Area School District U-46 will explore and discover science, technology, engineering and mathematics through various hands-on experiments during the ninth annual STEM Expo from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 25, at South Elgin High School, 760 E. Main St.

The STEM Expo provides U-46 students an opportunity to explore and discover science, technology, engineering or math through hands-on investigation and research.

Participating kindergarten through 12th-grade students will present projects based on their own natural curiosities and explain their findings to the judges.

Admission is free. The South Elgin High School Booster Club will have concessions open during the event (cash only).
