Author John Wasik coming to CLC to discuss Tesla

Nationally renowned author, speaker and journalist John Wasik will discuss his new book about inventor Nikola Tesla at a College of Lake County speaker series event at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23.

His new book is "Lightning Strikes: Timeless Lessons in Creativity from the Life and Work of Nikola Tesla." The event is part of a series focusing on science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The speech will be free and open to the public in Room A011, the lower-level A Wing auditorium on the Grayslake flagship campus, 19351 W. Washington St.

Wasik's presentation will use Tesla's life and inventions as a lens to show how to spark creativity and innovation in business and technology.
