Elgin candidate forum video available

I would like to let the voters of Elgin know that a video was made of the Jan. 6 Elgin OCTAVE Elgin City Council candidate forum.

That video is now available for viewing at: www.elginoctave.org.

Elgin OCTAVE works for fiscal responsibility within the City of Elgin Illinois. We oppose waste in city spending, and support transparency in taxation.

In addition to the forum, all seven of the Elgin City Council candidates completed a very detailed written questionnaire covering many issues of importance to Elgin voters. Among the issues covered were: Elgin's leaf collection, economic development, downtown revitalization, the former Fox River Country Day School property, the "Shared Harvest", and numerous other issues. The completed copies of each candidate's questionnaire can be found at: www.elginoctave.org

The Elgin City Council election will be held Tuesday April 7. And though that may seem like a long way away, it will be here before we all know it. So. please make the time to watch the video of the forum and to read the candidate's detailed questionnaire responses as soon as you can. Then connect with the candidates to get them to answer your personal questions.
