Naperville bank robbed Saturday morning

Naperville police and the FBI are searching for a man suspected of robbing the Fifth Third Bank office Saturday morning, authorities said.

The man presented a note demanding money to a teller at the bank at 1311 Ridgeland Ave., police said. The teller complied, and the man took an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

He fled the scene before officers arrived shortly after 10 a.m., police said. He fled on foot going south, according to the FBI. There were no reports of injuries.

The suspect was described as a black man, 5-foot-6-inches to 5-foot-7-inches tall. He was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt.
