Olive Garden fundraiser at Aurora's Harkness Center Feb. 21

The Kiwanis Club of Aurora, Communities In Schools (CIS), and the Olive Garden Restaurant-Oswego are teaming up from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, for a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the John R. Harkness Family Center, 60 S. Fourth St., Aurora.

A complete Olive Garden spaghetti and meatball dinner with fresh salad and warm delicious bread-sticks will cost only $10 or $5 for children age 12 and under. Tickets will available at the door. Carryouts will be available.

The Kiwanis Club of Aurora is dedicated to serving the children of the world. This dinner will help with Kiwanis Club's annual Aurora "Coats for Kids" drive.

With the collaboration of the Kiwanis Club of Aurora, Olive Garden Restaurant-Oswego and Communities In Schools, the dinner is managed.

Chartered in 1916, the Aurora club was the first club in the Illinois-Eastern Iowa District and the 21st club chartered in the world. Since that time, Kiwanis has grown to over 8,500 clubs and membership in excess of 320,000. Kiwanis is in over 90 nations or geographic areas. The Kiwanis Club of Aurora currently has some 105 members.
