Say 'Aloha' to summer with discounted Quarry passes

The Batavia Park District wants to think warm thoughts and say "Aloha" to summer. Hall Quarry Beach may not open until May 27, but staff is gearing up for summer fun by offering deep discounts of nearly 50 percent on full price season pass rates.

The sale will only last from Feb. 13-18.

During "Aloha Week," resident pricing will be: senior $15 (full price $20); individual $35 (full price $67); family of two $65 (full price $125); family of three $100 (full price $185); family of four $130 (full price $248); and each additional pass will be $15 (full price $30).

Nonresident pricing will be: senior $20 (full price $30); individual $55 (full price $96); family of two $105 (full price $180); family of three $170 (full price $267); family of four $230 (full price $358); and each additional pass will be $25 (full price $45).

New this year, season pass holders will get to take advantage of early admittance at 11:30 a.m. daily. This means better parking and access to beach chairs before the beach opens to the public at noon.

"Hall Quarry Beach is such a gem in the community, and we want to entice people to spend the summer there," said Kari Felkamp, director of marketing. "We're already offering early bird pricing through May 27, but the Aloha Week pricing was so popular last year that we wanted to offer it again this year. We hope people will take advantage of the deep discounts!"

Stop in to the Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St., or the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St., during business hours to purchase your season pass.
