Aurora Christian wins regional opener
Tori Henning scored 13 points and Paris Chaney added 10 Wednesday night to lead the Aurora Christian girls basketball team to a 44-21 win over Hinckley-Big Rock in the semifinals of the Class 1A AC regional.
Megan Hart and Danielle Lopez added 8 points each for the Eagles (19-8), who will play Somonauk at 7 p.m. Friday for the regional championship.
