Vandalism and violence aren't a right

I am responding to Jacqueline Buehring's letter printed Friday, Jan. 27.

It's funny that she complains about misinformation when supplying some of her own. With a few exceptions, it is the Trump protesters, not the attendees of Trump rallies that are spreading fear and hate, along with destruction. One only has to watch the news, to see them breaking windows, starting fires and attacking police officers. Many have their faces covered. That just tells you they are aware of their criminal acts and are attempting to avoid arrest and prosecution.

Peaceful free speech and expression are a right, vandalism and violence are not. Perhaps the "progressives" should grow up and realize that in the real world, not everyone wins and gets a trophy. Obviously they have not learned how to be a good loser.

Looking back, you did not see this kind of behavior from those who voted against Obama.
