Wheeling residents invited to State of the Community event Feb. 9

Wheeling-area residents are invited to attend a State of the Community event, Thursday, February 9, 7-8:30 p.m., at Chevy Chase Country Club.

This is the second year for the joint program, which drew over 200 people last year. Representatives from Harper College, Indian Trails Public Library District, School District 21, School District 214, Wheeling Park District and the Village of Wheeling will be present. Brief presentations by each organization will cover new initiatives, opportunities for resident engagement and available resources. Following the presentations, residents will have the opportunity to visit each organization's table to talk with staff.
