Attorney nominated for county board post
Barrington attorney Michael A. Danforth has been nominated to fill a vacancy on the Lake County Board, officials announced Monday. Danforth has been chosen as the District 17 representative by board Chairman Aaron Lawlor. The choice needs to be ratified by the full board Feb. 14. Lake Barrington Republican Nick Sauer resigned from the post after being elected to the state House. Danforth, a Republican, will serve the remainder of the term, which expires in 2018.
