Lake Villa District Library to Host Annual Wine Tasting

Grapes & Growlers features deluxe raffles, terrific entertainment and free wine and craft beer tastings courtesy of Antioch Fine Wine & Liquors.

Newly crafted for 2017, party-goers will have the chance to purchase raffle chances for 3 amazing prizes; two tickets to see Hamilton; two tickets to see the Blackhawks from row 11 and/or a Lego Mindstorms EV3 Kit. Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and are on sale now at the library.

The talented folk duo of Bill Liggett and Larry Sell will be performing. The Garden Coach, Mark Lyons, will be available to answer gardening questions while demonstrating how to make lemon cheese.

"There's something for everyone at this year's event," said LVDL Director Andy Lentine. "We've changed things up a bit this year and hope to see lots of folks enjoying the library in an unconventional way."

Proceeds from Grapes & Growlers will help fund public art for the new library which is set to begin construction this summer. Representatives from StudioGC Architecture, the firm designing the new library, will be on hand with renderings of the new building.
