Illinois American Water Honors Chicago Metro District Employees with Over 30 Years of Service

Illinois American Water's Chicago Metro District recently honored employees with over 30 years of service. Several of the 12 employees and retirees honored have 40 years of service with the company. The group represents over 469 years of combined service.

"Our employees are our greatest asset," said Rich Hermann, sr. manager of field operations and production. "We are honored to celebrate these impressive milestones with our coworkers. Their knowledge, expertise and incredible passion for providing the best service to their neighbors is inspiring."

The employees enjoyed a celebration and were inducted into the Illinois American Water 30 plus crew and the Illinois American Water 40 plus club. Those honored included Don Catanese, Dennis Elzie, Kevin Hillen, Dave Holemeyer, Bill Lamberty, Gerry Rosenwinkel, Scott Semetulskis, Rich Simec, Dean Thorsen, Louie Tucci, Glenn Williams, and Ken Zaborowski.

Gerry Rosenwinkel, working foreman, Chicago wastewater field operations said, "Illinois American Water is a great place to work. I mean the fact that I have been here 43 years kind of speaks for itself."
