Nine 3-pointers carry Jacobs to FVC win; Streamwood triumphs again

Emily Anderson scored 14 points, including hitting 3 of Jacobs' 9 3-pointers Monday night as the Golden Eagles defeated Crystal Lake Central 58-38 in a Fox Valley Conference girls basketball game in Algonquin.

Carly Sidor led Jacobs (11-12, 7-6) with 15 points while Maggie Grady added 10.

Streamwood 70, Niles North 45: Maddi Exline scored 16 points as Streamwood won this nonconference game, the Sabres' third straight win and sixth in their last seven games. Monica Brown added 12 points for the Sabres (12-10) while Andrea Bracey and Jenejha Williams had 11 each and Mandy Mien added 10.

Harvest Christian 47, IMSA 30: Maddy Martin scored 16 points and Alyssa Iverson added 12 to lead the Lions (22-3, 9-0) to a Northeastern Athletic Conference win.

Elgin Academy 47, Roycemore 19: Madeline Sporina and Gia Joyce each had 12 points and, 12 rebounds for the Hilltoppers (9-10) in this nonconference win. Elizabeth Sporina added 6 points and 5 rebounds for EA.
