Lake County Fairgrounds goes to the dogs for 32nd annual show

The Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake went to the dogs Sunday.

The fairgrounds played home to the Park Shore & Chain O' Lakes Kennel Clubs' all-breed dog show. The event was the 32nd Winter Show for both clubs.

Since Thursday, owners and handlers with the clubs have been showing a variety of breeds, including golden retrievers, English setters and terriers. Park Shore competed Thursday and Saturday, and members of the Chain O' Lakes club competed Friday and Sunday.

Each day was limited to 1,500 dogs and a variety of awards were given.
