Grayslake Networking Group Helps Community

Grayslake, IL - January 19, 2017 - The Grayslake Business Breakfast Group (GBBG) was founded in March 2001 by several long-time business associates to facilitate an environment for successful relationship networking. Part of the mission of GBBG is to collect and then donate monies throughout the year to local organizations in need. GBBG and has made a generous donation of $325 to KatibugKids, NFP that helps families in Lake County IL who are caring for their handicapped children ages 0-22 at home. Recent grants have helped two families obtain barrier-free lifts to aid in transfers and bathing; acquire an iPad Air2 with communication aids to prepare a Down Syndrome 4 year old for school; a 12 year old with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD receive much needed therapy and a family with twins (both with special needs) pay medical bills that had gone to collection.

GBBG averages about 25 members and meets regularly on Tuesday mornings at the Whitney Street Café in Grayslake. Meetings are structured in an informal relaxed manner with a consistent agenda that starts promptly at 7:15 AM and concludes at 8:30 AM.
