Glenbard East to host Annual Red & Black Ball March 10

A Dinner-Dance-Auction to Support and Celebrate Glenbard East High School Athletics Friday, March 10, 2017 • 6:30 pm - 11:30 pm King's Hall Banquets in Lombard (North Avenue & Route 53) Open Bar • Dinner • Silent & Live Auction • DJ & Dancing Sponsored by the Glenbard East Booster Club
Tickets for the event went on sale January 17. To purchase tickets: http://mybidderapp.com/rbb17. Early bird pricing is $75 per ticket prior to March 1; after that date, tickets are $90 per ticket.
We will be hosting several opportunities to win prizes or just have some fun! Featured at the event will be the following:
- Heads and tails game: Glow wristbands are available for purchase from our volunteers for $20 each, for your chance to win restaurant gift cards. How it's played: our auctioneer will ask all players with wristbands to stand. Players will be directed to display their hands on their "heads" or on their "tails". The auctioneer will then flip a coin and announce heads or tails. Players not displaying the correct position will be seated and continuous rounds will be played until there is one winner.
- Split the pot: Split the Pot raffle tickets are available for purchase when the lucky winner will be drawn. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
- Wrestling Tree: Wrestling families have donated a lighted tree showered with scratch off lottery tickets. Raffle tickets (half of a playing card) can be purchased throughout the evening for $10 each.
- Wine Pull: "pull" a wrapped bottle of wine from our Red and Black collection for $20 each.
- Craft Beer Pull: "pull" a bagged six -pack or bomber of some of the area's finest craft beers. Each pull is $10.
- Jail 'N Bail: Every wanted to put your spouse, friend, or coach in jail? Here's your chance...for $5, you can issue a "warrant" for their arrest and they will have to serve their 5 minute sentence or bail themselves out for $10. Immunity can be purchased for $25
For those that can't attend the event, but would still like to bid on silent auction items, our online site makes it easy. Using the same link for registration (http://mybidderapp.com/rbb17), the silent auction will open a week before the event. In year's past, items have included sports memorabilia & tickets, weekend dinner & hotel packages, spa and beauty baskets, personal trainer visits and so much more!
If bidding on items isn't your thing, we always welcome donations. We are currently looking for businesses / individuals to sponsor the event.
