Aurora Junior Woman's Club, chartered in 1956, provides both voluntary service and monetary donations to local communities and schools. They serve children, families and other charitable organizations, in an effort to make a difference in people's lives. The club's biggest success continues to be the annual children's play.

Members also make up the membership of the Aurora Children's Dental Service. This organization, along with local dentists, provides dental care for children who would otherwise would not receive care without their help.

Club members range in age from 18 to 60-plus. The club does not have geographic boundaries. Although it is called the Aurora Junior Woman's Club, they have members from Aurora, Batavia, North Aurora, Montgomery, Oswego, Sugar Grove and other surrounding towns.

The club's regular monthly meetings are the second Monday in September and the first Monday of each month, October-May, which is the club year. The meeting time could vary slightly, but traditionally they meet at 6:30 p.m. at a designated meeting place. Guests are welcome.

Anyone interested in becoming a member can come as a guest to certain meetings or contact the club president to receive a membership application.
