Chef Series III offers 3 chances to dine for a good cause

For the third year in a row, chefs from around Chicago are teaming up with Pizzeria DeVille to combat hunger and hardship locally with three special dining opportunities.

In Chef Series III, participants will enjoy multicourse dinners with wine/drink pairings as favorite local chefs work their magic at Pizzeria DeVille.

The lineup for Chef Series III is:

• Monday, Jan. 23: Chef Jared Batson teams with Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants.

• Monday, Feb. 6: Chef Eric Mansavage and team from Farmhouse, with locations in Chicago and Evanston.

• Monday, Feb. 20: Chef Ricky Sakoda and friends from Café Selmarie in Chicago.

Additionally, items will be offered for bid in a silent auction format the night of each dinner, including a pizza party at the winner's home with Pizzeria DeVille's new Wood-Fired Pizza Trailer.

The event is limited to 70 seats per dinner, so sign up early.

Tickets are $100 per seat for each dinner, and are available at Brownpapertickets.com under the key words: "Chef Series," "Chef Series III" Or "Pizzeria DeVille."

All net proceeds will be donated in equal shares to seven charitable organizations:

• Libertyville Township Food Pantry

• Or Shalom Synagogue in Vernon Hills

• St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville

• First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville

• St. Lawrence Episcopal Church in Libertyville

• PADS at The United Methodist Church in Libertyville

• The Chapel in Libertyville
