Man arrested in shooting outside Indianapolis plasma center

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A 54-year-old man has been arrested after police say he shot and wounded another man during an argument at an Indianapolis plasma center.

The shooting happened Monday outside CSL Plasma Center. Police found a 32-year-old with a wound to the abdomen and he was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

The men apparently were at the clinic to give plasma. Police say the men had been separated by employees inside the plasma center during the argument and they continued to argue outside before the older man shot the younger one with a shotgun.

The suspect was quickly taken into custody and also had a knife with blood on it. Police say the shotgun was recovered behind a nearby business.

Prosecutors are to review the case for possible charges.
