Learn about housing for homeless, mentally ill at Lions meeting

On Thursday, Jan. 19, Hugh Brady will speak to the Dundee Township Lions Club's dinner meeting. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Squire in West Dundee.

Brady is a board member for the Alliance to End Homelessness. It brings together a range of services for housing for homeless people. He also serves on the board of directors for National Alliance for Mental Illness-Illinois. He will share his experience with this organization. He has gotten involved with the Housing Task Force, a group that's working to build community-based supportive housing for folks with mental illness.

The public is invited to attend this presentation. Dinner is $15 and starts at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation at 7:15 p.m.
