Woodland Primary to Hold PBIS Family Night
Gages Lake-A glow-in-the-dark theme will be featured as Woodland School District 50's Primary School hosts PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Family Night on Wednesday, January 18 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Primary's "Glowing with Paw-sitive Behavior" event is open to all Primary students and their families. The evening's activities will focus on making positive choices and building positive relationships at school. Families will participate in a variety of activities that teach turn taking, impulse control, collaborative skills, and other positive behaviors.
Each family attending will receive a variety of coupons from local businesses such as Chili's Restaurant, Suzy's Swirl, Rink Side, and Rainforest Café. Participants will also be entered into a raffle for chances to win prizes such as spirit wear, free meals from Penn Station, and Rainforest Café gift certificates throughout the event. Families are encouraged to wear neon/bright colors or white. Glow in the dark accessories are encouraged, but not required.
