A-League leaders Sydney sign Dutch defender Jordy Buijs

SYDNEY (AP) - A-League leader Sydney FC has signed Dutch defender Jordy Buijs to the end of the season.
Buijs has more than 200 appearances in the Dutch league, including with Feyenoord, De Graafschap, NAC Breda and SC Heerenveen. He will join Sydney FC next week.
Coach Graham Arnold says on Friday that Buijs is "a free kick specialist, and like our other four foreign players, we expect him to improve our squad enormously."
Sydney is unbeaten in 14 rounds this season with 11 wins. It has a seven-point lead over Melbourne Victory.
